Welcome from the Head of School

Salaam, 欢迎, welcome, ようこそ, bienvenue,  добро пожаловать and bienvenida,

EtonHouse Malaysia (EHM) is a boutique international school in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, only a stones throw from the Twin Towers. We understand and promote that effective learning is a collaborative process and team effort between staff, students and parents, ensuring we are inclusive and family oriented from the moment you step foot on our lush campus. Our community is at the heart of everything we do at EHM.

In March 2021 we successfully navigated our second International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP) evaluation - making us one of only four schools in Kuala Lumpur running the accredited PYP programme to an increasingly high standard that is built for the post-pandemic world.  This includes the introduction of the online platform Toddle, to help make transitions between virtual and physical learning, communication with parents, portfolios with key IB elements clear and cohesive for everyone. With the PYP Learner Profiles and Approaches To Learning (ATL) skills at the core of our curriculum, we build life-long learners who are inquisitive, confident and determined to be thoughtful participants in the global community that awaits them.

While we are small, our hearts are big and this is what makes EHM a unique learning journey for your children. At the core of our teaching philosophy is the child and their mental health, well-being and sense of belongingness. Over the past four years, we have created and implemented exceptional Inclusion and Pastoral departments, ensuring all those involved in the development of our students are not only qualified but of the right mindset to support our students, setting high standards both academically and socially.  Additionally, EHM is a flagship school for the Global Inclusive Teaching Initiative (GITI) which is in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Inclusive education for all), a worldwide movement for change to enable all teachers to be able to effectively teach all children.  Written by 5 of the world's leading authorities in inclusion, this initiative is singly the best training anyone involved in the education of children can do, and we at EHM are proud and honoured to be part of this revolution.

I am proud of not only how EHM has grown as a school, but of the future that awaits the community. Our doors, phones and emails are always open and we are always happy to hear the community’s views on how to make EHM the best boutique international school in the city.

I look forward to meeting everyone soon in the new academic year 2023-2024

Best Wishes,
Aneira Morgan
